The Barb-Tite hose fittings are made of brass and can easily be assembled with no clamps needed.
- Assembly Instructions: 1. Lubricate insert with a tire installation lube (optional step). 2. Hold the hose at an angle as shown and push on and up over the first barb. 3. Continue to push straight on until the hose is seated under the protective plastic cap. Keep hands back from the hose end area so that hose can expand or use the handy Barb-Tite assembly tool!
- Disassembly Instructions: 1. Split hose as shown above. Do not cut completely through the hose. The sealing edge of the barb could be damaged. 2. Bend hose and remove with a quick pull
