- High alloy TIG welding wire for shock resistant tool steels
- Weld deposits are highly shock resistant dense and completely heat treatable
- Excellent for medium hot cold working and metal to metal wear areas
- Retains high hardness at 600°F
- Primarily used on blanking dies trimmer dies bending dies chisel points hammer faces punches and most high shock cold working applications
- Hardness: 54-58 RC as welded
- Maximum Hardness: 62 RC
- Heat Treatment: use S-7 procedure
- Recommended Current: DC Straight Polarity
- Shielding Gas: Argon
